Fran Krause asks people to tell him their weirdest, deepest, most irrational fears. He listens to vivid imaginations of childhood fears, upsetting grownup embarrassments and just inexplicable worries.
But Fran Krause isn't a psychologist. He's an illustrator and he's been illustrating these fears into small comics. The specificity of each one makes the concept of fear so human and so universal that it's impossible not to feel connected to the stories. You can even submit one yourself at his Tumblr page, Deep Dark Fears.
