Some Pranksters Find A Genius Way To Get Rid Of Door-Knocking Salespeople
We all know how frustrating it can be to receive a call from telemarketers, especially during a hectic moment or, worse, during dinner time. Of course, they're just doing their jobs and they should not be blamed for that, but such calls can be so very inconvenient. And, if these calls are so annoying, just imagine how much more difficult it would be to deal with someone showing up on your doorstep.
Fortunately, house calls from salespeople aren't nearly as common as they used to be. In New Zealand, however, they still seem to be a somewhat regular occurrence. One company, Energy Online, decided to stage a prank to put a stop to visits from door-to-door salespeople once and for all. This prank is an advertisement for Energy Online's, well, online services, promising that you won't need to deal with home visits from representatives of power companies again with their services. Sure, it's a little cruel to scare these people like that, but it is also quite amusing.
