Relieve Your Painful Stiff Neck In 10 Seconds With This Simple Trick

A stiff neck can totally ruin your day. It can drastically affect your mobility. Every move you make can aggravate the injury further. Simply put, you can't go about even the simplest day-to-day activities. I should know because I used to get stiff necks constantly when I was a kid. Chiropractors can really help, but they're expensive!

So, what causes stiff necks?

Most stiff necks are a result of incorrect sleeping positions, though they can also arise from holding an awkward position for too long. The sooner you can make corrective changes to the muscle, the quicker your recovery will be. Hopefully, this remedy provides you with relief for your stiff neck.

Chiropractor Dr. Andrew Bang explains, "When your neck muscles become weak and you try to turn your head, the joint no longer moves smoothly because it’s now out of place. Often the joint catches on something, either pulling a muscle or hitting the nerve irregularly, or maybe both. Then you’ll have instant pain and your body has a protective spasm. It will clench, causing you to feel like you can’t even move."

Here's how to get rid of that pain in just 10 seconds!

Although the demonstration below is in Chinese, it's easy enough to follow along and get the gist of it. One thing that's universally easy to understand is the look of relief on the face of the young woman in the video.

She starts by lying down flat on her back, and it's clear that she's in great discomfort due to her neck. One of the demonstrators then takes a towel and places it underneath her left shoulder, elevating it roughly six inches from the table. He then tells her to breathe deeply for roughly ten seconds.

When the towel is removed, the girl gets up with the most miraculous look of relief on her face. She literally can't believe how her pain seems to have vanished. It's truly incredible to think that the trick was so simple. I wish I'd known about this years ago!
