A Shiba Inu Can't Quite Get The Kiss Thing Timed Right

Is there anything cuter than a puppy? Maybe this shiba inu puppy getting kissed by his owner. Each smooch results in the puppy trying to lick back but not quite getting the timing right. As that little furball gets older, he'll surely get more coordinated. But why do dogs lick our faces, anyway?

Well, besides the fact our salty skin tastes delicious to them, dogs actually lick us for the same reason we give each other kisses. To show affection and love, and because it makes us feel good, releasing endorphins, otherwise known as the happiness chemical, which gives your pooch a sense of comfort and joy.

So next time your dog runs over and plants a big wet one on your cheek, you can be sure he's letting you know how he really feels.
