Cheerleaders are often known not only for their cheers, but also for their impressive jumps, tumbling and dance routines in support of various sports teams. Their routines typically last anywhere between one and three minutes, but their performances during those short spans of time can be pretty epic. Cheerleading originated in America, and today, there are likely more than one million cheerleaders in the United States. However, cheerleading has reached many other countries in more recent years, including Canada, Australia, France, Japan, the United Kingdom, Colombia and Australia.
