Rhythmic gymnastics originated during the mid-to-late 1700s. This style of dance can be traced back to the ideas of Jean-Georges Noverre. Jean-Georges, along with others in the rhythmic gymnastics movement, wanted to create a form of dance that expressed oneself through each and every body part. Peter Henry Ling followed in his footsteps and turned the activity into what we see today.
Group rhythmic dancing has certainly come a long way since those days. This group of men makes it look easy, even though it's actually anything but simple. The moves are hard enough, but the timing is the real challenge. Watch as they absolutely dominate their performance and take group rhythmic dancing to a whole new level.
