Standardize testing is something every child has to endure in the United States public school system. The "Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965" was the start of required assessments in schools across America. Every year, children will take this test to determine their academic strengths and potential. The downside to these tests are the effect they're making on young students' mental health. Anxiety is very real for both the student and the teachers when standardized testing season comes around. This anxiety can not only affect the students performance, but it can also restrict broad and rich curriculums. This fourth grader states her strong opinion about test, grabbing the attention of the school board and the Internet.
