If you're having a bad day, it might help you to remember that nobody out there is perfect and that we all make mistakes. In fact, take a few minutes out of your day—we'd like to prove to you that even millions of dollars don't buy perfection.
We've found a bunch of animated movies from the biggest studios in the world and tracked down the mistakes made in them. You probably didn't notice when you watched them. The truth is that people probably don't notice your mistakes as much as you do, either, so check these out and remember we're all human!
1. The Fastest Clock In The West
In Toy Story, released in 1995, there's a scene which takes 10 minutes to play out—but during which the clock on the wall jumps nearly 7 hours forward. Maybe toy time is different than ours?
2. Nala's Super Color Changing Eyes
Nala in 1994's The Lion King seems to have an issue with her eyes. They keep changing from blue to black to green at a moment's notice.
3. The Walking Cat Costume
Puss In Boots, in Shrek 2 from 2004, jumps out of his boots—and as he does so, all his other clothes magically leap further forward in the frame.
4. The Self-Moving Sock
This is a scene from Monsters, Inc. where George leaves a room with a sock on his back. In the next shot, the sock has flipped itself over without being touched.
5. The Painting Which Reverses The Damage
When the Beast trashes a painting in 1991's Beauty and the Beast, the cuts go left to right. Later in the movie, however, the painting is seen again and the cuts go from right to left this time.
6. Shrek's Painful Eyelid
There's a moment when Shrek from the 2001 movie of the same name is chatting with his friend Donkey and then he blinks, and his eyeball bursts straight through his eyelid. Ouch.
7. Nemo's Magical Bag
Finding Nemo in 2003 was an all-time classic, but the moment where the dentist's Ziploc bag becomes an ordinary bag with no explanation is hard to fathom.
8. Vanellope's Super Self-Growing Teeth
Vanellope loses a tooth during a practice race in Wreck-It Ralph from 2012. Then she magically grows it back for the rest of the movie, no dentist required.
9. Elsa Has A Spooky Shoulder
There's a bit in Frozen where Elsa is singing "Let it Go" and she pulls on her ponytail, and then pulls it straight through her shoulder. Not over it, through it.
10. Jasmine's Jumping Bracelet
In 1992's Aladdin, there's a scene in which Jasmine is held captive by Jafar and her bracelet magically moves from one arm to another.
It's good to know that everyone makes mistakes—it means we all share a bond of what it is to be human. Have a great day!
