Magnesium is considered to be one of the most important minerals for overall health, but the USDA still estimates that nearly half the population is suffering from some degree of magnesium deficiency. This important mineral is required by almost every cell in your body, and is involved in over 300 separate metabolic processes.

While the recommended daily intake is around 500-1,000mg, the stress of modern life often causes us to use up more magnesium than we can readily get through our food, leading to deficiencies.
