When the Instagram @harlowandsage was launched on March 13, 2013, it instantly captured our hearts as it documented the adventures of Harlow, a gentle giant of a Weimaraner, and Sage, her dachshund older sister.
They always had each other's backs.
They cheered each other up on bad days.
And they definitely understood the importance of teatime with the one you love.
They always kept each other warm at night.
But Sage was 13 years old and started having heart problems.
And in September of 2013, Harlow said goodbye to her big sister.
Harlow was heartbroken without her.
Soon after, Harlow found out the news: she was about to become a big sister herself.
Indiana, a dachshund puppy, came into Harlow's life to cheer her up.
They soon became the best of friends.
Their natural goofiness resulted in some absolutely adorable photos.
They definitely wore each other out playing.
Anywhere Harlow went, she took Indiana.
Indiana has a lot to learn in the ways of dog.
Harlow is always ready to tell her a bedtime story.
And share in a lazy Sunday afternoon.
We should all be so lucky to have such a great sister or best friend in our lives.
