Easter is coming up, which mean it's time to decorate and hunt for countless eggs. In addition, a lot more folks are opting to raise their own chickens these days. I don't know if you've ever tried to gather a lot of eggs in your life, but it's definitely easier said than done.
That's why we were so excited to see blogger Ashlea Konecny's brilliant idea that makes the task much, much more convenient. A self-proclaimed "crochet addict," Ashlea set out to create a solution in the form of an adorable apron.
Now, a pocketed apron isn't exactly revolutionary, but the idea of creating 19 pockets that fit and cradle eggs perfectly is definitely new. These pockets can, of course, be used to hold any other small items or tools, too, and there's even a large rear pocket for your cell phone and other accessories.
If you've got kids, Ahlea even created a child-sized version! Easter egg hunting just went to a whole other level.
"This apron could be used to hold all sorts of crafts, tools - and according to my eight-year-old, to hold his LEGOs while he builds as well!" says Ashlea.
If you'd like to get a full tutorial and get the pattern yourself, head over to Ashlea's blog. If you'd rather just buy an ad-free version of the pattern instead, you can purchase it from her Etsy.
