This Family Gets Back Home For Christmas, And Finds The Cat Doing The Funniest Thing

Christmas trees are a delight for the whole family. Cats, however, seem to take an especially keen liking to them. It is wise to take precautions with your tree and your cats, as some elements of the tree can be harmful to them. According to vets, be sure that your cats do not chew or swallow tinsel. These pieces, when ingested, can get stuck in their intestinal tract and require surgical intervention for removal. Another precaution is to make sure that your pets do not chew on ornaments. Many ornaments made in foreign countries are painted with toxic, lead-based paints. It is also recommended that decorations be placed away from the base of the tree. In spite of these precautions, cats often get the best of the tree - take a look.
