This Woman And Her Dog Are Better Dancers Than Most People I Know
When someone says "dog dancing" you probably picture a tiny dog, maybe a Chihuahua, probably in a very silly costume, up on its hind legs, awkwardly prancing around. In the world of musical canine freestyle, however, it's usually the trainer in the silly costume. The dogs are anything but small or awkward, either. The competition doesn't have breed restrictions, but larger, more obedient breeds are often favored. It's not just prancing around, either. Dogs perform specific tricks as well as demonstrate excellent heeling skills. It's a fun, modern way for dogs to show off classic moves. Trainer Marina V. Novoselov and her gorgeous Newfoundland pal take to the freestyle floor in this beautiful display of training and skill.
