Ventriloquist Comedian Brings Volunteers On Stage, But They Have No Idea What She Has In Store
You've seen ventriloquism, but probably never like this. Putting on a show that is equal parts hilarious and interesting, Nina Conti is a comedian that has found her niche. Born in London, Conti has performing in her blood (both of her parents are actors). Although she holds a degree in philosophy, Conti has always worked as an actress and comedian. She started her career on the stage and was a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company for the 2000-01 season. It was her time at the RSC that led her to become a puppet master. Director Ken Campbell created "Let Me Out!!!," a ventriloquist play, specifically for her. Since then, she has appeared with puppets on stage and television and even won awards for her unique performances.
