When His Owner Says It's Time To Go To The Vet, He Reacts In The Funniest Way

At first, I was very alarmed by this bird's screaming, but learning more about the cockatoo's natural sounds made me realize what was going on. Every cockatoo screams. In fact, this is an entirely natural behavior that is commonly used to communicate with other birds or group members. For many species, screaming toward the end of the day is only a part of a nightly routine. If there are more than two cockatoos in the house, they will tend to synchronize their "screaming sessions." While these screams should not be curbed, keep in mind that an excessive amount of crying may be due to boredom. If the bird is screaming out of boredom, consider giving him/her attention or something to play with in the cage.
