Witness The Moment A 92-Year-Old Female WWII Pilot Takes To The Skies Again

Over 70 years ago, pilot Joy Lofthouse flew a Submarine Spitfire for England during WWII.

As a member of the  Air Auxiliary Transport, she absolutely loved the thrill of flying. Now, at the ripe old age of 92, she got a chance to fly her beloved Spitfire once more. Joy's excitement at being in the air after all these decades is barely containable, and she explains that "the nearest thing to having wings of your own and flying."
