When I was a kid, the scariest thing on Halloween night wasn’t the other older kids’ costumes or the thought of your bag ripping, but rather whether or not your costume would be too cold. Well, to be clear, I didn’t care about that, but my mom worried enough for the both of us. Nothing makes the Crypt Keeper look lamer than a long-sleeve shirt from The Gap poking out from underneath his tattered robes.
Luckily, Stephanie Pokorny’s kids don’t ever have to worry about being too cold on Halloween. She’s the mom behind the popular Instagram account “Crochetverse,” where she shows off all of her wonderful knitted creations for adults and children alike. Over the past few years, she’s made some pretty spectacular (and warm) costumes for her little ones.
Check them out below! And if you’d like to knit one of her designs yourself, you can find all of her work here.
