Folks, this is a wild one.
Here’s what happened: a woman named Tiffany posted a video on TikTok and talked to viewers about what happened when the parent company of her former franchise decided to lay down the hammer and have her arrested.
Tiffany said she used to have a franchise called The Little Gym and it was taken over by a company called Unleashed Brands in 2021. She explained that the new owners tried to make all franchisees sign new contracts with major changes which were to be in place for the next 10 years.
Tiffany decided not to sign the new contract and Unleashed Brands wasn’t happy about it. She fought the company and their major backer for a year and a half and different lawsuits were filed against her.
Tiffany’s business was ultimately terminated and Unlimited Brands was found guilty of defaming her. She thinks this is all because she is the president of her union.
She said, “What I can tell you is this has not worked.”
She added that the company is trying to have her thrown in jail because she volunteers teaching sign language and music to special needs kids and the company claims that this is a violation of a court order.
Tiffany said, “They are now asking a judge to interpret their non-compete as being anything related to children.”
She said that she can’t afford to keep fighting them and added that the company has spent nearly $9 million on cases but they haven’t won any of them.

Tiffany posted a follow-up video on her way to a court date and said that the company is also trying to get her husband thrown in jail.
She said, “I am fully prepared to go to jail. We have people ready to take care of our kids, and we are going to court. Please let me show the world that this private equity firm has gone so far.”
She added, “And today we’re gonna find out if they can send me to jail, and I kinda hope they do.”

So it seems like it’s a big corporation trying to prevent somebody who signed a non-compete so they can’t work with ANY children and earn a living.
It also appears as if they company is trying silence somebody who is running a union that could hurt their bottom line.
