We all love IKEA. That’s fact, Jack. And you’re gonna love it even more when you see what the company has done in the United Arab Emirates.

The marketing department for IKEA in that Middle Eastern country worked for two months to put together living room sets inspired by TV favorites FriendsStranger Things, and The Simpsons using only IKEA furnishings.

IKEA is calling the living room sets the “real life series,” and the ad campaign has gone viral in a big way. There are small differences in each living room set from the TV show but all the essentials – including “the feel” – are there.

The Friends set up looks very close to the original arrangement from the show.

The Simpsons got similar treatment and has a cartoon-like feel with the bright colors from the TV show.

For Stranger Things, the IKEA team recreated Joyce Byers’ living room with amazing accuracy.

A managing director for IKEA in the UAE said, “The Ikea team worked closely with the creatives for months. They went through hundreds of items to find the perfect pieces that would bring those iconic rooms.”

The managing director added, “It was a great collaborative effort that led up to a stunning result. A true testament of what IKEA represents: a place where everyone can bring whatever idea they see or have to life.”

These are impressed and I really wish they were doing it in the U.S. What do you think? What shows would you like to see IKEA do next? Share your thoughts in the comments!
