Get your tissues ready, because this story is probably going to make you weep tears of joy. Australian couple Scott and Elizabeth fell in love and when they decided to tie the knot in 2018, Elizabeth wanted to surprise Scott – who is deaf – with something very special on their wedding day.

While Scott was waiting for Elizabeth to walk down the aisle, the bride paused and used sign language to communicate to her soon-to-be husband.

Elizabeth’s sign language display at the end of the aisle understandably moved Scott to tears. Scott knew Elizabeth had a limited grasp of sign language but didn’t know she had been practicing for the big day.

Elizabeth signed the entire lyrics to the song “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perri, much to Scott’s surprise.
