Children’s drawings are often one of the most precious keepsakes for their caregivers. Over time, though, these doodles can accumulate into piles and piles that aren’t exactly convenient to store. Now, though, you can actually turn a child’s drawing into a piece of fine jewelry that you can wear forever.

Turkish company Tasarim Takarim (I Wear Design) creates the custom pieces of jewelry for customers all over the world. The founder, Yasemin Erdin Tavukçu, was inspired by her own daughter Serin.

“Every drawing is unique,” Yasemin told the Huffington Post.

Yasemin was also inspired by the young son of a sculptor and goldsmith, Özgür Karavit. Yasemin and Özgür collaborate on the items.

These pieces of jewelry are not only special for the caregivers who commission them, but also for the kids who drew the designs originally.

“When kids see the jewelry [they designed], they become so proud of themselves and feel very happy,” Yasemin said. “They feel so self-confident. They really believe that their art is loved and appreciated by others.”

Customers can order a variety of items, from small pendants to bracelets to decorative tabletop sculptures. Tasarim Takarim currently sells their designs through Etsy, and while the custom pieces aren’t cheap, they’ll definitely make for a lifelong piece of memorabilia.
