Abrupt Windstorm Crashes The Rose Bowl

Jan 2, 2015
The Rose Bowl is the longest standing Bowl Game in college football history. The game is traditionally played on January 1st and brings in thousands to participate in fun, family-friendly pre-game activities, watching the Rose Bowl parade, or attending the game itself.

This year, the weather during pre-game festivities definitely brought attention to the Bowl a bit earlier than usual. Pre-game festivities are held throughout the Pasadena, CA venue and its surroundings.

One of the areas that visitors love is "Fan Fest" where there are games, music and other family-friendly activities. YouTube user and company, Adsport, caught the crazy weather activities at fan fest when a tornado-like dust storm blew in and spoiled the fun. The windstorm pulled up tents, an inflatable slide (no one was on it) and whirled other debris around, injuring four people. This all occurred in under two minutes.
