This video features one of the two fennec foxes that are kept at the IPR and his name is Rupert. Rupert arrived at the IPR at just 4 weeks of age and grew up around the many animals found on the grounds. One of his best friends, however, is this cat named William, and the bond they share is sure to bring a smile to your face.
The International Primate Rescue (IPR) is a massive wildlife sanctuary dedicated to the preservation, care and rehabilitation of primates. Located in Pretoria, South Africa, the reserve initially started out as a foundation, until it was able to purchase enough land and change its name in 2001. While they currently focus on primates, they also provide a home to some domestic animals, in addition to foxes and hedgehogs.
