Little Girl Channels Aretha Franklin To Steal The Show At Her Dance Recital

Some people say that stars aren't made - they're born. After seeing 6-year-old Johanna Colón steal the show and bring the house down with her spirited dance to Aretha Franklin's 1967 classic "Respect," those people might be right. Johanna's mom, Elissa, posted the video to Facebook on June 7, and it's already got over 26 million views and counting just two days later. The world can't get enough of Johanna's attitude.

According to Elissa, Johanna has been taking dance since she was 2 and got a standing ovation. Being residents of North Carolina but having family up north, Elissa posted the video primarily for relatives in New York. She says that Johanna is excited about her newfound fame but doesn't understand it and is currently more psyched about the last day of school and getting ice cream "for having a great report card."
