Meet The 15-Year-Old Who Is Poised To Be England's Next Rugby Star

Mar 24, 2015
Rugby can be thought of as a predecessor to American football, especially the old-school days of the NFL, where the running game was much more central. Players must take a ball and touch it to the ground in the end zone to score a goal, known as a "try," and are allowed to make lateral or backwards passes to teammates to avoid being tackled.

Tyrese Johnson-Fisher is just 15 years old, but after watching this footage of him scoring four tries in a single game, it's not hard to imagine that he'll have pro rugby scouts all over him. His speed, strength and agility might have even caught the eye of a few NFL scouts, as well. He is definitely a name to look out for in the future.
