After spending time with a tribe in Papua New Guinea, Diamond found himself influenced by how the tribe allowed the possibility of various risks to impact their day to day lives. Risk is all around us, from stepping into the shower to bending over to tie our shoes. The approach of the Papua New Guinea tribe is to be sensitive to the risks that surround us every day. By adding a little more careful examination to our daily routines, we can better navigate the roadblocks and slip ups we encounter as we go.
