Shelter Dogs Raise Awareness For Their Cause While Having A Blast With Some Animal-Friendly Paint
May 10, 2015
In order to bring attention to the large number of dogs that exist in Brazil's animal shelters, one shelter created the idea called "Canismo." They have taken corn starch, food coloring, and water to make a harmless, edible paint. They poured the paint onto some of their dogs and allowed the dogs to paint. In fact, the canines created 18 different works of art throughout the campaign, which will be sold on May 9 to support the efforts. The shelter revealed that there was also the intent to show that every drop from the dogs bears the stain of prejudice and the different colors reveals the mixtures of race.
