Soldiers Surprise Their Daughter At A School Magic Show

If you were to ask the countless brave men and women that proudly serve in our military what the hardest part about deployment is you may be surprised by the answer. It's not the latrines and the bunks, or tough Commanding Officers or even getting shot at. From almost every soldier I've ever met (and I've been honored enough to have met more than a few), the almost unanimous agreement is that the toughest part of deployment is being away from your loved ones.

Julia and Brian Woodburn are a married couple who are both actively serving in the U.S. Army. For them, deployment means having to be apart from each other as well as their precious young daughter, Addison. Here, we see them arrange a surprise homecoming at her school under the guise of a magic show. The magician makes Julia magically "appear," while Brian is hiding in the mascot suit the whole time. Although having both her parents gone at such a young age is undoubtedly hard, from this video it's clear that she gets more than enough love and strength from her parents to make up for it.
