Talented Musician Plays Metallica's "Enter Sandman" Entirely In Reverse
May 7, 2015
His latest release is one that not only has the makings of a viral champion, but it is also an amazing feat. In the video, Scallon not only covered Metallica's "Enter Sandman" in an amazing way, but he also recorded it backwards. In other words, every note was played and every note and lyric were all produced in reverse. Then, to make it exceptionally different from anything produced before, he reversed the video to show it as if he'd recorded the entire song while playing it forward. To add even more fun, he offers amazing visuals like "un-eating" a pretzel. The result? A viral hit for sure, but more importantly, a musical masterpiece that many could never pull off.
YouTube user and musician Rob Scallon has become a social media sensation in the last year. He first uploaded videos of him playing his guitar (and other instruments) around seven years ago, but he didn't produce a video that gained over 200,000 views until he uploaded a cover in May 2011. Since then, he has become a viral guru with multiple videos over the one million mark.
