The Color Of Feelings
Aug 14, 2015
"The Color of Feelings" is an experimental film that attempts to capture the visual look of emotions, "anger, love, sadness and joy." The swirling patterns are created with surprisingly common elements: oil, paint, milk, honey and cinnamon. Just like how emotions can often occur simultaneously, these elements resist each other until finally blending together, "calming down," as it were, into a mellow state.
Based in Lyon, France, graphic designer Thomas Blanchard is busy crafting a beautiful, magical, kaleidoscopic world all his own. Whether in lush music videos or biological time lapses, his vision of an art-filled world is both futuristic and organic. Blanchard often works with other directors to capture a total vision.
