This Is The Sweetest Thing You'll Ever See A Royal Castle Guard Do

Jul 11, 2015 By Sarah Brennan
In Sweden, there are royal guards continuously protecting the country's national structures. They are most commonly placed in front of the Drottningholm Palace and the Royal Palace in Stockholm. Ordinarily, these guards are standing completely still with little to no facial expression.

Tourists flock to Sweden's capital by the thousands each summer. The palaces are particularly busy from April to August. Visitors are absolutely fascinated by these squadrons in blue uniforms and silver helmets. However, the influx of tourists makes the guards' jobs a bit tougher. They are instructed to ignore all distractions that occur during their shifts. Sometimes, that rule is hard to follow. Take this little boy for example. This guard can't help but play along with his adorable behavior.
