The campaign has been launched in support of World Down Syndrome Day, on March 21, and is intended to bring more opportunities for integration into society for those with Down syndrome. CoorDown, the advertising, and the celebration are all aimed at bringing awareness to the fact that those with Down syndrome have a right to happiness and a sense of wellbeing just like anyone else. There is a real emphasis on integration in both school and workplaces.
This year the ad features a common dream for couples, even those living with Down syndrome. As anyone does, these couples have the right to marry, own their own home, make a family and have a regular, independent life. #specialproposal
For the fourth consecutive year, Italian advertising agency, Saatchi & Saatchi has released a new campaign for CoorDown. CoorDown is the Coordinated National Association of Persons with Down Syndrome in Italy.
