Watch JUNO approach Jupiter and the Galilean Moons

On July 4, 2016, NASA made history. The JUNO probe, which launched in 2011, successfully entered into orbit around Jupiter. Mankind has sought to learn about the majestic planet ever since the days of Galileo, and the images from JUNO allow us a front row seat of Jupiter and its four moons. What you are about to see was recorded between June 12, when JUNO was ten million miles away, and June 29, when JUNO was three million miles away.
